Casa Susana is located in Sayulita, which is approximately 45 minutes north of Puerto Vallarta International airport. Bus and taxi service to Sayulita is available from the airport. Bus fare is currently 20 pesos (about $2) and cab fare runs around $50.
As you leave the airport, turn left onto the main highway and follow the directions to Compostela. After about 10 minutes, you will pass the towns of Mezcales and BucerÃas. After passing BucerÃas, follow the signs for Compostela-Tepic. The road becomes very curvy as it climbs into the hills. After about 15 minutes you will pass a sign for Guamuchil, San Quintin, and San Ignacio. Look for the Sayulita sign and turn left. Sayulita is three kilometers from that point.
Once you've reached the central plaza, follow the ocean north on Avenida del Palmar past the school staying to your left along the ocean. You will pass a vacant lot on your left overlooking the sea. Around the corner and up the hill the road turns to cobblestone. There is a large white estate on your left and a big pink wall with a green frog on it to your right. At the bottom of the hill to your right you see a bright yellow cement fence that says Casa Cumpleanos. Go up that hill and we are the first driveway to your right. You will see the Casa Susana sign on the stone wall. We are the casa with the lion on the entrance.
